Shipping: Shipping was fast & discreet. It was also a huge surprise. I knew that they were sending me a parcel, but what arrived was beyond amazing! It felt like Christmas arrived early. The toy came with a few other toys – you might have seen my exciting unpacking on my social media.

Package: The Empowered Queen toy was secured in its own beautiful designed box. In the box included was the toy, two cups, charging cable and a white storage bag.

What is it?: It is the CalExotics Empowered smart pleasure Queen, which is designed for vulva owners. It provides clitoral/vulva pumping via suctioning out the air and clitoral stimulation via a moving and vibrating silicone tongue. The pump suction increased the blood flow to the vulva area, which can intensify the sensation.

Material: It states it is made from silicone and ABS plastic. The handle part is ABS plastic and so are the cups. The tongue is made from silicone and the rings on the cups are made from silicone. The tongue has a medium squishiness. Overall, the toy is made pretty well and sealed. The only part I might be a bit concerned about is the tongue connected with the toy, where you screw on the cups – this can be a part collecting germs if not cleaned properly.

Functions: The empowered Queen toy provides vulva & clitoral stimulation via a pump suction & flicking vibrating tongue. The vibrating flicking tongue provides 6 different intensities & patterns. The pump can be used manually – inflate & deflate via the buttons or via the programmed suction patterns, which are 6 different ones to choose from. The toy has 4 buttons. The on/off button – hold for a few seconds to switch on, the light above this button switches on. Now, when you press the on/off button again, the tongue starts to vibrate & move – single press to change the pattern/intensity of the tongue. Hold this button for longer and the toy switches off completely. Above the on/off button is the air/pressure release button (looks a bit like a steam pictured). Press this button to release any air pump suction. Just make sure you don’t cover the air hole on the top of the toy – which is used to suck in & out the air for the pump. Below that button is the “S” button, which is for the manual pump feature. Press and hold this button to pump – suck (air will be removed through the tiny hole on the top). Using it via this button means you are in charge of how much you like to have the suction. You can do this in tiny steps, slowly working your way up to the right intensity. Use the “steam” button to release any pressure. Below that button is the “M” button. Once it’s all switched on, you can change over to the already programmed pump suction modes. Just press once to activate and once to change the intervals. That’s more like a pump, release, pump, release or pump, pump, release, pump, pump, release.. I think you get the idea of it.

Noise: There is some noise, especially when the tongue is used as well - it moves and vibrates, but it wasn’t interrupting my pleasure time.

Charging: It is USB rechargeable via a port to plug in. Charging before use is recommended. Charging takes about 90 min and use time can vary depending on the use but up to 70min.

Care: Due to the material (silicone), I cleaned it with mild soapy warm water - the rings of the cups (you can detach them – love that!), the cups and the tongue area. I used a wipe for the handle part. You could also use a compatible toy cleaner.

Waterproof: Yes, IPX-6

Storage: The empowered Queen toy comes with its own white storage bag. Just store the toy in there after it is cleaned & completely dry. It is big enough to store the toy & the two cups. I store it with the other toys in my big toy drawer.

Lube: Due to the material (silicone), I used water-based lube with it. This provided a sliding & gliding experience, especially for the tongue action and for the rings.

My experience summary: OMG – one of my new fav toys! This is now my second pump with tongue toy & I said it after my first toy (the Fantasy for her ultimate pleasure), that I’m in love with that combo & the empowered Queen has confirmed this! This one is even better in my opinion! Personally, this is the closest to receiving oral for me! It is that goooooooood! So pleasurable & satisfying! Mind me, I'm a fan of vulva pumps in general too - so the combination with the tongue included - the best for me.

I love that the Queen toy is sitting very comfortable in my hand – it fits perfect into my palm. It feels smooth with the silicone and was easy to clean – though you need to get into the bits of the tongue with a cotton wool eventually. Love that you can detach the silicone rings from the plastic cups. In regards to the plastic cups. There are two different sizes and I preferred the smaller oval opening. The bog one didn’t receive the pleasure I wanted for me. However, the bog cup was alright when I used it for my nipples. I tried using it with the pump function on, but that wasn’t working with my very soft mom boobs. I was able to use the tongue on my nipples though, which felt good – but also a little different. But I believe that’s also because I haven’t been stimulated on my nipples for a very long time & I only now accept & love them for how they are since after my second child was born.

Once it was in use with a good suction, I had my hands free. It was stuck in place. Though, I preferred the manual pump. It did lose a little bit of suction over time & I kept pressing the pump button shortly again and again here and there to keep it up – or maybe I needed to increase the intensity ;-)

I love the increase in blood flow & it definitely made me more sensitive to the tongue flicking and vibration. Adding lube made it even more sliding & with that so close to receiving oral.
