Shipping: The parcel arrived fast (within Australia) and was discreet. It didn’t state what was in it.

Package: Athena was securely stored in her beautiful designed box and black hard cover box. In the box was the toy “Athena”, a storage bag, charging cable & instruction manual.

Brand: Kali Vibes was founded by a woman. It is their mission to normalise pleasure and encourage everyone to explore their sexuality by providing a holistic haven to cultivate connection, conversation, sexual empowerment, community, education and encouragement. They state “Kali is a goddess energy within all of us”. Love this mission! They are Australian owned but ship internationally.

What is it?: Athena is a rabbit vibrator designed for vulva havers for internal & external stimulation of the vulva. It can be enjoyed solo or with a partner.

Material: Athena is made from premium silicone. It feels very smooth and is designed beautifully.

Measurements: I measured Athena about 10cm to be inserted for the internal end with about 3cm girth at the widest part.

Functions: Athena provides 2 powerful separate motors – one for internal G-spot stimulation and one for external clitoral stimulation. Athena has 2 buttons: and on/off button and one with 3 dots (…). Press the on/off button for a few seconds and Athena lights up & is ready for playtime. Single press of the on/off button will then activate and change settings for the external (clit) stimulation end. It provides 12 different settings (3 intensities and then patterns). Press the … button to activate and change settings for the G-spot internal stimulation end. This one also provides 12 different settings (3 intensities and then patterns). I could work them separately, all at once or not at all.

Noise: It is really quiet for the power that it provides. The external stimulation is like suuuuper quiet, but also the bigger motor for the internal stimulation is pretty quiet for the power of vibration.

Charging: Athena is rechargeable via supplied USB charger – magnetic (ports at the end of the toy). Charging is about 2 hours from almost empty to fully charged, which provides then up to 1 hour playtime (when on full speeds).

Care: Due to the material (silicone), I cleaned it with mild soapy warm water. You could also use a compatible toy cleaner or cleaning wipes.

Waterproof: Yes, IPX7. This means you can enjoy Athena also under the shower or squirt. It also makes cleaning so much easier.

Storage: Athena comes with its own storage bag. It feels like satin, very soft. It is white with the Kali Vibe logo on it – love this. I m a fan of beautiful, breathable supplied storage bags with logo on it for easy finding of the toy.

Lube: Due to the material (silicone), I used water-based lube with it. Lube is highly recommended, especially for the internal stimulation.

My experience review summary:

Kali definitely delivered some goddess vibes with Athena. I love the smooth silicone and the shape of the toy. The G-spot is a great length and girth – also the curve of it seems to work beautifully for my G-spot stimulation. I love that the external end is flexible. Our vulvas are shaped differently and this way, Athena can adjust to the body. I was able to place and wiggle it around to hit all the right nerve endings of my clit. I prefer it slightly from the left side and I was able to do this with Athena. Oh yes.. and OMG it is so super quiet. If you are after something discreet in noise (eg. with having roommates) Athena is a good choice. Easy to clean & worked beautifully with water-based lube. Storage bag is also a highlight. The only thing I would have to mention though is that it is unfortunate that you cannot switch off the external vibration without switching off everything. Once I orgasmed, I usually like to keep the internal vibration on low for a little while to enjoy the afterglow.. but I cannot have any stimulation on my clit after I orgasmed clitoral. When I switched it off – everything switched off. The next time I lifted up the top vibration to enjoy the internal. I also needed to press through all settings to find my preferred setting again, so I needed to keep up with the counting and once I went to fast, click more. But then again, I understand to make the navigation easier & don’t overcomplicate it when you are playing with too many buttons. You can’t have it all. And in the end, I found my way to work with that. Overall, Athena is an amazing double ended vibrator & delivered some goddess vibes! Already looking forward to have more play time with her!

I recommended to update the website with more product details, such as material used & more details about it. I believe it is super important & beneficial to know more about details about the toys before you buy them – which they stated they will update.
