Shipping: I received my Lovehoney calendar pretty fast via express post from them. It was a gift from LoveHoney. Discreet and fast as usual from them.

Package: The calendar was packed in a carton box. The calendar has 12 secret doors with numbers (which include 12 products and 2 charging cables) and 2 pamphlets attached to the main door – instruction manual and quick start guide. It is designed beautifully in red with Christmas design.

What is it?: Lovehoneys 12 Days Rose Advent calendar – featuring 12 doors with pleasure toys or tools to spice things up over the festive season.

Pleasure Toy specifics:

Door 1: The bullet vibe - USB rechargeable, made from plastic, for external use only, pretty powerful with various intensities and patterns, press and hold to turn on/off, single press to change setting. Charging cable is included. It is waterproof IPX7.

Door 2: Red Suction Dildo – It is made from silicone. It feels super smooth and soft. It has a hole to fit in the bullet vibe from door number 1 to make this Dildo a vibrating Dildo if wanted. Love this idea. The suction cup was great and the size was just perfect. I loved the slight curve and slightly bigger head part – perfect for my body to hit the right spots & G-spot. This dildo can be enjoyed with your yoni and/or anally. It was easy to clean.

Door 3: Blind fold – In red with one side a little softer than the other. Personally, this could have been a little better quality but nevertheless it is a good blind fold to include with this calendar. I like the two elastic straps to make it sit properly.

Door 4: Butt plug with a red crystal – It is made from aluminium, not too heavy and also a great beginner size with about 2.5inch. Remember to use lube with anal toys.

Door 5: Kegel Balls - They are made from silicone, even the string is made from silicone. I love that! Feels super smooth and soft, in red & black. I love that you can detach the balls from the string part to give it all a proper clean – this way no juices get stuck in it. It weighs about 54g. Great size & weight of the balls, suitable for beginners. Though, make sure that kegel balls are suitable for you. These can be worn internally for vulva havers as a strengthen exercise for your pelvic muscles or for fun and pleasure – I like to wear them out on a date or when I do house work and go shopping.

Door 6: Menthol pleasure balm – It is an oil-based balm. Therefore, pleasure consider this when using condoms while you have this on your vulva at the same time (oil can break the condoms). Please also read the ingredients list to ensure this balm is right for you. It states to apply a small amount onto your external erogenous zone and allow a few minutes for it to take effect. I almost made the mistake to re-apply but in the same moment it started feeling cooling and tingly. I blew some air onto it as well to increase the sensation even more. The sensation didn’t last too long & I re-applied a few times.

Door 7: Black G spot vibrator – This one is supposed to be for internal G-spot stimulation, but it is made from plastic. Hence, I didn’t use it internally (plus the size didn’t really made sense for me to use internally to stimulate my G-spot). I used this one externally. It requires 1x AA battery, which is not included.

Door 8: 2 dice – One of them shows some options of the toys provided in this calendar and the other one shows time frames. You can roll the dice when you need some inspiration and play with the toys in the time frame that you roll. Can be great for solo play and partner play.

Door 9: Red Double stimulation toy (G-spot Massager) – It is designed to stimulate the G-spot internally with one end and the other end to stimulate the clitoris. It is made from silicone, which feels super smooth and soft. It is easy to clean. It has the option to insert the bullet vibe to turn this toy into a vibrating double ended stimulation & OMG! I loved it! It has the perfect shape and size for my body to stimulate internally and externally. I loved using it with the bullet vibe. The vibration was amazing coming through and the toy kept in place giving me the option to use my hands for other pleasures.

Door 10: Nipple clamps with bells – They are made from iron and has silicone covers to apply on the nipples. I needed a moment to work them out but then it made sense. You can increase the pressure by pushing up the rings closer to the silicone ends and easy it off to slide back down. The bells are super cute and a great xmas addition. When I shake my boobs with the clamps I made some jingle bells noise haha.

Door 11: Anal beads – It is made from silicone, in black, feels super smooth and soft. It is a great beginner size with a small, medium and larger bead. It also has the option to use the bullet vibe with it to make these anal beads vibrating. It is a cute size, easy to clean and very enjoyable with a lot of lube.

Door 12: Rose clitoral stimulation toy – The rose is made from silicone with some abs plastic on the bottom. It is USB magnetic chargeable; cable is included. The rose is designed for vulva havers to stimulate the clit via air pulse/pressure, but can also be used on other parts of your body as you please. The round opening can be detached for easier cleaning. Lube is recommended. It is waterproof IPX7. Press and hold the bottom button to switch on/off. Single press of the top button to change settings.

Care: Due to the silicone and abs plastic and aluminium, I cleaned them with mild soapy warm water (except the battery g-spot massager and the bullet vide – I used vibes for them). You could also use a compatible toy cleaner. There is also the option of boiling the silicone toys and aluminium back door plug for a couple minutes in hot water to sterilize them.

Storage: The calendar didn’t come with any extra storage bags to store the toys away. That would have been a great addition as now I have some extra lose toys around. For now, I store the toys and tools in the drawer with my other ones. No matter where you store them, make sure it’s a dry cool and dark place.

Lube: Due to the silicone, aluminium and Abs plastic of the toys, I used water-based lube with it. Lube is highly recommended for it to make the experience very sliding and enjoyable, especially when you play with your back door. This can also help to reduce any risks of tearing etc. Remember, our back door doesn’t self-lubricate.

It is also recommended to use some water-based lube on the bullet vide when you slide it into the other toys, eg. the dildo, the double ended G spot toy and the back door beads.

Personal Review Summary:

Overall, I really enjoyed exploring the calendar. I love the colour theme of red and black – because this is so my vibe. My most fav toy is the double stimulation g spot toy. It surprised me in a very positive way and I had the most pleasure with it. But most of the other toys and tools were so enjoyable as well: the dildo, the clamps, the kegel balls, anal bead, plug... My least fav one is the battery-controlled g-spot vibe made from plastic. I didn’t even use this one internally because of the material and the battery makes it louder. Myabe this one could have been replaced with something kinky – restraints or a flogger/whip or wartenberg pinwheel.

The calendar is a great way to get more creative over the festive season, either solo or with partners – can also be a great gift idea. In my opinion, this calendar is beginner friendly, but can also be a great fun idea for the intermediate players. The sizes are not too big and the variation is a great mix to cover different pleasures.
