Shipping was super-fast. I was only talking to Lux the day before they arrived at my door! It was express posting within Australia though. It arrived in a black plastic covered box. They ship FREE within Australia. They also ship internationally, with additional costs of $17.50 flat rate per order. All sex towels were single packed in a plastic see-through bag, including a SEXTOWELS.COM sticker and cards.

What is a Sex Towel?! I asked myself this question when I received an email from Sextowels.com asking if I would be interested to review their sex towels! OMG of course I m in! I have never head of a “sex towel”. These are not related to the Splash Blankets you might have head about. Sex towels are different. The SEXTOWELS.COM sex towels are “grab size” towels that can be used before, during or after sex, with yourself and/or others, for cleaning and storing your pleasure toys or for any other occasion that you require a sex towel.
Did you just noticed that I mentioned they can be used with pleasure toys? Yes, that’s right. This got me sold! As a pleasure toy reviewer and advocate for body safe pleasure toys, these towels got my attention.
Let me tell you a little bit more about the sex towels:

Look: Some of the colours/prints/patterns are Leopard, trippy, red, black, pink, fire, camo, clouds, snakeskin, cosmic, houndstooth, tartan, race, and so many more. As you can see in the video, I received a range of 12 different sex towels. They are planning on releasing more sizes as well mid-year 2024.
Material: The sex towels are made with their trademark ultra-soft waffled hypoallergenic and antimicrobial OEKO-TEX standard 100 certified fabric, that’s supposed to be quick-drying, absorbent and odour free. The printed colour is made with long-lasting but innocuous ink and dyes, so they say. They are printed/coloured the same on both sides. The towels have the SEXTOWELS.COM label with care instructions. On there, it states it is made with 80% polyester and 20% polyamide.
Care & Cleaning
How to care for them: Preferable use cold wash with similar colours at 30 degrees max. It is recommended to NOT use any blech or fabric softener. If you iron them, then on low only.
Waterproof: Although they are absorbent, these are not waterproof blankets. The fluid will come through on the other side, depending on the liquid, use and amount of it.
Storage: You can store your sex towels with your other towels, or you can keep them handy for when and where you need them, such as under your pillow, in your bed side drawer, bathroom or on your bed/couch. They have some eye-catching colours and prints to highlight.

Summary: I didn’t know I needed the sex towels until I had them. They have seriously made my toy review pleasure fun so much easier! I love using them to place my “used” fluid sticky toys on there once I’m done with my pleasure fun. This way I don’t get any stains on my bedsheets, couch or anywhere else I m playing. I can then just grab the towel with my used toys to go the bathroom to clean them. I can take my time to enjoy my afterglow. I also have another set of towels ready in my bathroom for cleaning and drying.
I tried various lubes on the towels, used them for various situations and gave them a few washes. There were no stains left on them and the colours and prints have stayed the same after a few washes. I have to admit that I prefer the plain coloured ones over the printed ones though. Just because the plain coloured once feel slightly softer. Therefore, I use the plain coloured ones on my body and any occasion I like it softer and the printed ones for placing them on, used or cleaned to dry.
The only thing I have to mention though is that the sex towels are not water proof. It will get through the towel depending on the amount and quality of the liquid. It is working with used toys beautifully though (unless they would be dribbling).
I love that they are body safe, strong, soft and in the “grab size” – that makes them very handy to have them around. Though, if you like it discreet, be aware that there is the SEXTOWELS.COM brand sign on it.
Overall, I love the idea of sex towels and I look forward to see what SEXTOWELS.COM are coming up with next. I feel this is just the beginning for them…
